The first story which caught my attention was the story of Lucie Pressburg Jacobson. She was born(p) in 1924 in Vienna, and her father had an architectural firm. LJ as she is set out in the book, was only a little girl when the Holocaust events unfolded, her father and brother were sent to Dachau. LJ and her give were kicked out of their dresser and their family attempted fleeing Austria. Her fret carried poison to commit suicide. LJ was sent to Eng gain and her mother managed to lay her dad and brother out of Dachau. They were reunited in promised land shortly thereafter, before WW2 began.
